Job Description:

We are looking for a Transactional Real Estate Legal Assistant with 5+ years of experience to provide dedicated, one-on-one support for a high-volume partner. We are seeking a long-term, career-focused assistant who thrives in a stable environment and is an expert in commercial real estate workflows.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage the full lifecycle of client matters, from running conflict checks to assembling closing binders.
  • Form entities, primarily LLCs and limited partnerships.
  • Handle heavy redlining of transactional documents with expert proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Interface with vendors including registered agents (Paracorp, Parasec) and due diligence services (InfoTrack).
  • Enter attorney time daily and provide general administrative support to your partner.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a transactional commercial real estate practice.
  • Demonstrated job stability and a desire for a long-term role (no job-hopping).
  • Must be a career legal assistant with no plans to attend law school or become an attorney.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including redlining, formatting, and PDF conversions.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site in downtown San Diego.

    Education

    Paralegal certificate.​

    Hard skills
